ALL Women's Voices Matter: Why Cecile Richards does NOT Speak for ALL Women
Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, came out publicly about her past abortion. Her purpose was to change societal views and to reduce the stigma surrounding abortion. She claims to be a voice for all women..
Women's Pregnancy Care Clinic found a few women who begged to differ and their responses tell a different story.
I just got married on November 1, so I love spending time with new my husband. So far, we are really enjoying exploring Orange County together.
Any favorite T.V. Shows, movies or books?
My favorite book is The Giver, and I still refuse to watch the movie. I am an NCIS fanatic. I don't always like books that make reality seem perfect, I like things that are messy and allow for real life.
What is most impactful to you about working at WPCC?
My best friend growing up was adopted. Her birth mom went in to an abortion clinic to abort her, but happened to meet a woman outside who told her about adoption. This woman ended up adopting her baby and becoming my best friend's mother. I have been interested in the pro-life cause for awhile, and I don't think public opinion on abortion or adoption is correct. I love the idea of a woman carrying a baby to term and then giving it up for adoption, since it is so personal to me. I love promoting the possibility of a life for both the mother and the baby... keeping the baby doesn't have to be a detriment to the mother. It doesn't have to be a choice between the mother's life or the baby's life. This is the message I want to promote!
